A song of the pearl

I can't see the moon, I know my love
But I can waltz with you on its silken silver beams.

A gentle kiss of summer breeze, a cool caress of silently flowing river
My skin feels them, as your skin brushes with mine.

Barren,parched and deserted mass of earth was my life before you came,
Deluged in torrents of your love, I am alive once more.

Paths I walked all alone till now, will have the same ups and downs,
But for the journey ahead you are my guide, and you're my only destination.

Can a truth be so surreal, that all my dreams seem now unreal?
Is it all but a play in my sleep, I haven't woken from?

Yet I know I feel like heaven every morning,as I wake up next to you,
And feel your arms around me when I snuggle in warmth of your chest.

Darkness is my reality,my destiny;a long night for all my life till eternity,
Yet your smile lights a lamp somewhere in my heart. Oh, it's so bright all around!

I do not know of the soul, of prayers and the almighty gods,
If to love you is wrong, I never want to be right even.........



P.S.-- The Protagonist of this Poem is a Visually challenged girl.
And she is in love..
